Oscar Best Picture winner “Oppenheimer” is one of the films that Christopher Nolan and his producer wife Emma Thomas will be awarded a damehood and a knighthood for their contributions to the film industry.
The movie, which won seven Oscars, including Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor, was co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan.
The movie was produced by Thomas, who has also worked on films by Christopher Nolan such as “Inception,” “Dunkirk,” and “The Dark Knight.”
The British Film Institute has awarded director Nolan Nolan a Best Director award, citing his films and their offspring as sources of inspiration.
Nolan, who operates Syncopy, is married to the couple and met Thomas at University College, London. Legends in the British film industry are mostly from the UK, though several have also received recognition from the US.
