Riley, the child protagonist of the tale, uses five personified emotions to control her thoughts and behaviour while she adjusts to her family’s move. With an estimated $175 million budget, the movie made $90.4 million its first weekend.
Walt Disney Pictures has scheduled the June 14, 2024, release date of Inside Out 2, which is helmed by Kelsey Mann. It would break the record set by Dune: Part Two, which came in at $82.5 million, if it opens at the upper end of the expected range and brings in $100 million. The movie was revealed at the D23 Expo in 2022. Since Toy Story 4 debuted in 2019, the sequel has also had Pixar’s largest opening to date.
