“The Fantastic Four” is British actor Ralph Ineson plays the world-devouring cosmic evil Galactus. Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm will represent the superhero team, dubbed Marvel’s First Family.
Alongside Oscar nominee John Malkovich and Emmy winner Paul Walter Hauser in characters that have not yet been revealed, the movie also stars Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal. The god-like creature known as Galactus was first seen in 1966.
It feeds on entire planets and all living beings. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created him with the intention of making him distinct from other Earth-based outlaws and acting as a model for subsequent post-apocalyptic cosmic adversaries.
The 1966 film Galactus depicts a god-like creature that survives by devouring entire planets and living beings. In contrast to villains from Earth like Thanos, Kang, Dormammu, and Ego the Living Planet, Galactus is a self-sufficient being who maintains the galaxy’s equilibrium by feeding on its food.
On occasion, he assists the Avengers and the Fantastic Four in taking down adversaries. The Ultimate Nullifier is the only weapon that can defeat Galactus, so Marvel’s choice to include him in “The Fantastic Four” could have broader effects on the MCU. Galactus may also play a significant role in 2027’s “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
