The Flash Sells Fast In VODAfter having a lukewarm run at the Box office, The Flash is finally turning in big money for Warner Bros. DC Comics’ ‘The Flash’ has emerged as the studio’s second film to top charts after Barbie’s huge success internationally. The Flash has managed to gain the number one spot at all the three VOD(Video on Demand) charts this week.

The Flash was released over a month back and it managed to make under $110 million in the domestic run. The Film had an overall budget of around $200 million. The post theatre run is turning in better results for the movie than what it did at the big screen. The flash is currently priced at $19.99 across all VOD services.

iTunes and Google Play chart films according to the number of transactions daily. The Flash secured the top spot at both the charts comfortably. Interestingly, it was the only Warner Bros film in the top 10 of both the charts. Vudu offers a different method and ranks movies according to revenue over a week. The Flash took the top spot in this chart as well.

The Flash has offered hope to movies that did not perform well in their theatrical runs. The post theatre VOD business is still strong and studios are coming up with standard practice deals for films.
