“Joker: Folie à Deux”, is mostly going to be a jukebox musical, with 15 remakes of very well known songs, Folie à Deux is going to be a musical treat. At the end of 2023 we received a very beautiful Musical Jukebox directed by “Paul King”, “Wonka”. “Joker 2” directed by Tod Phillips, is still a mystery to everyone.
From a very well known musical “The Band Wagon,” from 1953, “That’s Entertainment” is scheduled to take place in the much awaited Joker sequel. Musical Jukeboxes are often a box office hit, for example “Mamma Mia!”. However, the makers are saying that they might add 2 or more original songs inside the soundtrack.
Nothing about the plot of the sequel is out yet. But, it is said that things will take place surrounding Arkham city. Which are going to get attended by Harley Quinn and Joker. With the box office success of part one, the sequel is a dream for Joker fanatics. Along with Phoenix and Gaga, Zazie Beetz, Catherine Keener, and Brendan Gleeson joined the cast.
“Joker- Part One” grossed over $1 billion worldwide and secured 11 Oscars nominations. Although, who is going to write and compose all the songs for the sequel are yet to be known, but Hildur Guðnadóttir is said to add her haunting cues in every song. The director collaborated with Scott Silver on the screenplay.
The sequel is one of the most anticipated movies, just like “Dune Part Two”, and with the roaring success of the movie, audiences are waiting eagerly for “Joker: Folie à Deux”, which is scheduled to release on October 4th, 2024, with a whooping $200M budget.
