The controversy surrounding Jonathan Majors has seen a steady decline. It hasn’t been that long since Jonathan Majors was sentenced for reckless assault against his girlfriend. Ever since the initial allegations, the MCU actor has seen a number of downfalls from grace. The US Army suspended recruiting commercials featuring him, and Majors lost a number of roles, like Kang the Conqueror and the lead role in ‘The Man in My Basement’.
This, however, appears to be changing as Majors has recently bagged a role in Martin Villeneuve’s next independent revenge thriller, “Merciless.” The story is being written by Frank Hannah. Quite familiar with the plot of Taken, it will follow a CIA operative who has to go through extremes when he finds his lover in danger.
The movie is still in pre-production and will soon start shooting in Saskatchewan. It is a good thing that the actor is once again gaining traction in the industry after his fall from race after he was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. It is yet to be seen whether Majors will return to MCU as Kang, as he has already appeared in two projects. As per the sources, the management is already in talks with the executives to carry forward negotiations.
