Nickie Minaj, the famous American Rapper was arrested for carrying Cannabis in her luggage and taking it to another country. The rapper claims she went through a bad treatment and her ethnicity played a role in it. In a livestream, she shared with her fans that most of the officials were men and they treated her in a “that bad” way for no apparent reason apart from her ethnicity and she wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
She was arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport after the officials found, “dozens of joints in her luggage”. She was fined 350 Euros and according to the officials, everything went very smoothly.
Due to this incident her evening show in Manchester, UK, was postponed.
The officials said it was very annoying that she pulled “that card” as it was extremely unnecessary and they had obvious reasons for her arrest as taking drugs to another country is illegal.
She was arrested at around 17.30 and released at 21.30. The details are yet unknown but one thing is very clear that she broke the law and faced the consequences. Being a public figure, one has to be more careful as millions look up to them. Whether her treatment was poor or not is still not proven yet.
