The Batman, the new version of the hugely popular superhero saga featuring Robert Pattinson, has already garnered significant interest from fans and audiences. The film directed by Matt Reeves gives the assurance that it was darker and gritter, and it would chronicle the origin of the Caped Crusader as he went up against some of his most notorious adversaries like the Riddler, the Penguin, and the Catwoman.

According to some rumors, the next installment of The Batman, titled The Batman – Part II, will feature one of the oldest and most terrifying villains in the Batman universe: the Scarecrow. The Scarecrow, who is also called Dr. Jonathan Crane is a twisted psychologist who uses fear inducing toxins to arrange and blame his victims.

The Scarecrow might take up the themes of fear, trauma and madness that are prominent in Batman‘s personality. Fans want to see how well Pattinson’s Batman would fare against the Scarecrow’s mind tricks, and who would act as the evil villain.

The Batman – Part II is slated for October 3, 2025 in theaters. The film will not the part of the new DC Universe, which also includes other projects such as Superman: Legacy, The Brave and the Bold, and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
