Christian Bale never disappoints with his efforts for his movies. The Dark Knight actor is known for his gruesome body changes to fit his roles.
Bale is shooting Maggie Gyllenhaal’s ‘The Bride’. It draws inspiration from the 1935 movie ‘Bride of Frankenstein’. Both the movies are adaptations of Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’.
Bale’s first look came out and it has broken down the internet. Bale is playing the role of Frankenstein monster and what a monster he looks! He has cuts on his head, scars all over the body and his clothes match the effect.
The cast of the movie includes Penelope Cruz as Myrna, Jessie Buckley as the monster’s bride and Peter Sarsgaard as a detective.
Jessie Buckley’s look hit the internet and she is in no way less intimidating than Bale.
‘The Bride’ is set to release in October 2025
