Will Director’s Cut Save Furiosa?

Furiosa A Mad Max Saga

Director’s cuts have saved a huge amount of movies, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is one of the prime examples for that.

And now Mad Max franchise creator George Miller, is releasing a Black & Chrome version of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Years ago Mad Max Fury Road got the same treatment of getting a black and chrome version of it, so this trend of getting a noir version is not a new thing for the Mad Max saga.

During a recent episode of Happy Sad Confused, Miller was asked by host Josh Horowitz about a potential black-and-white release for Furiosa. He not only confirmed that there would be such a cut, but that he had already finished it, “We’ve done it already. It’s the last thing I did on this film, and I call it Tinted Black & Chrome.”

As of right now, there are no additional details regarding Furiosa’s Black & Chrome edition.

Now director’s cuts are always a saviour for the movies as they have the potential to portray a completely different version of the story, as the director has complete control over the movie.

And with the disastrous result of the first week box office collection of Furiosa it’s very evident that this movie will need a director’s cut.
