Today WB drops the trailer of one of the most anticipated movies of the year. On their social media, they shared the trailer of Wonka and it looks phenomenal. On paper, it can be one of the best adaptations yet.
So, you need to hop on to the train of nostalgia and get to the chocolaty dream as Paul King directs one of the most promising adaptations of childhood tales.
Timothee Chalamet looks amazing as the candy maker and enters a world of pure magic. Besides Chalamet, faces like Olivia Colman, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Matthew Baynton, Matt Lucas, Rowan Atkinson, and Jim Carter will take us to the candy land.
The movie is based on the famous children’s novel ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Later in 1971, a film adaptation was made called Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and it became a cultural phenomenon. Even actors like Jonny Depp and Gene Wilder played the part of Willy Wonka and nailed it.
Now, if everything goes right, WB can create a massive competition for Disney-like films. The musical fantasy film will the movie will be released in theatres on 15th December.
