After testing, epic success with Baahubali Prabhas had a rather hot and cold passage with consecutive duds. Films like Saaho, Adipurush and Radhe Shyam dampened his prospects.
Incidentally, the directors behind these projects had to sustain a lot of damage after delivering poor products with one of the biggest commercial heroes in the country.
In the case of Sujeeth, who made Saaho, he was without a project for a couple of years before he could finally materialize OG. Luckily for him, this project is turning out to be a lucrative one and it has pretty decent prospects going its way.
Then we have Om Raut who made the brutally trolled Adipurush. The way he mishandled this project, which is based on Hindu epic of Ramayan made him a subject in o intense troll. The gross miss handling of this project, put a dark light over his career.
But again, he has somehow managed to grab an interesting project in the form of Kalam with Dhanush. This is an interesting project on paper and executed well, there is good prospect here.
Lastly, we are left with only one of Prabhas’s failed directors Radha Krishna who made Radhe Shyam. He delivered an outright disaster in the form of Radhe Shyam, and he is still in search of a new project even after three years.
Luckily, the other two directors could set up interesting projects despite the delay in materialisation. In the case of Radhakrishna, he is taking a lot longer than what’s expected.
