3 Mega Heroes, One Shared Dilemma!

Chiranjeevi-Pawan-Kalyan-Ram-Charan

In the post-COVID era, Telugu cinema has witnessed a remarkable surge in popularity across India. This seismic shift began with the groundbreaking success of Baahubali, and subsequent blockbusters like Pushpa and RRR have propelled Telugu cinema to new heights on the national stage.

Reflecting back attempts to penetrate the Hindi market by Telugu superstars have been met with disastrous results in the past.

A decade ago, Ram Charan endeavored to captivate Hindi audiences with Zanjeer, only to face disappointment as the film turned out to be an embarrassment.

Similarly, Pawan Kalyan’s Sardar Gabbar Singh failed to leave a lasting impression, marking another setback in the pursuit of Bollywood success. Even Chiranjeevi, despite early successes with Pratibandh and Aaj Ka Goondaraaj in the 90s, encountered failure when he tried to make a comeback in 2019 with Sye Raa.

Undeterred by past setbacks, the Mega Heroes are once again trying to conquer the Hindi market.

Ram Charan is set to make his re-entry into Bollywood with Shankar’s highly anticipated project, Game Changer.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan‘s upcoming film, OG, holds promise in establishing his presence in the North. Chiranjeevi, too, is ambitiously venturing into the Hindi market with the fantasy drama, Viswambhara.

The industry eagerly awaits to witness who among these Mega Heroes will emerge successful in leaving an indelible mark on the Hindi audience in their re-entry.
