The Telugu regional OTT streaming platform has almost given up on content for some time now, with not a single exciting title they’ve attempted to acquire.
There was once a time when Aha, despite being small and confined to the Telugu regional language, went head-to-head with big platforms like Amazon Prime Video. However, now, the management has dropped the ball just as quickly.

If we look at the kind of titles Aha Video has been streaming lately, most of them aren’t even worth hitting the play button for a few minutes.
But finally, Aha Video has grabbed one good film that is likely to get a decent volume of views and goodwill. The film is 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu. A film like this will generate a lot of buzz, and people will recommend it to others for its genuine effort and home viewing comfort. Especially, women will embrace this film wholeheartedly.

The bigger question, however, is whether Aha has enough subscribers to give this film the visibility it deserves, especially since piracy is a major issue. As soon as smaller OTT platforms start streaming a film, a good HD print often spreads quickly through torrents and other piracy websites like iBomma.
Even for producers, there’s little recognition if the OTT platform isn’t robust, and the film may go unnoticed.
