With multiple box office blockbusters like Bramayugam, Premalu, Manjummel Boys(new all-time blockbuster), Aadujeevitham, and new releases Aavesham and Varshangalkku Shesham, Malayalam cinema has grossed over Rs 750 crore at the box office.

In a new high, the film industry delivered three 100+ Cr grossers this year in the form of Premalu, Manjummel, and Aadujeevitham. These films have pushed up the stakes for Malayalam cinema not just down South but also in all of India.
From being termed just a genre film industry, Malayalam cinema has become an unexpected winner by setting the box office on absolute fire this year.
