Recently released film Abbai Class Ammai Mass shows Varun Sandesh once again trying his hand at gaining a footing in the film industry. The plot of the movie revolves around the character of Sri who is being brought up by his grandmother in a very sheltered environment. Problem arises when Sri has to move out and face the worldly problems.
Although the film had an interesting concept, it fails to properly execute it. This includes having a weak story; feeble screenplay as well as poor direction which all go against the film. The comedic scenes that have been included in the film also does not offer much as entertainment and ends up as waste. Add to that a slow pace, illogical scenes and a weak climax and it is no surprise that the film ends up as a dud.
