Prabhas and Om Raut’s Adipurush mania is peaking on social media as the film is now less than a month away from its release. The trailer has set good expectations from the film.
The movie was scheduled for a world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023 on June 13, but it has now been cancelled. There are some reports that there is some censor issue in Mumbai, and that is the reason for the cancellation of the premiere.
But there are also speculations that the makers intentionally cancelled the premiere two days before its release to avoid the spread of the talk. If the film gets bad reports (in the worst case) from the premiere, it will adversely affect its bookings all over.
The film has already suffered the wrath of huge negativity and trolling. The makers can’t afford negativity for Adipurush anymore. The film has to succeed in a big, big way to recover its costs. So it is a wise decision to have normal premieres on the 15th and 16th instead of one on the 13th.
