The music in a Pawan Kalyan film is always highly expected. There are huge expectations from it. That is because of the number of blockbuster albums that Pawan Kalyan has been given right through his career by the top music directors. So, when a star with such track record has music by young and upcoming music sensations, the expectations are bound to be sky high. Has Anirudh Ravichander lived up to the hype?

There are two things with the audio of Agnyaathaavasi. It is musically rich, but at the same time, it offers nothing for the masses. There is a lot of variety on offer music wise with different sort of genres attempted with excellent quality, and nothing feels half-baked or overdone, they are perfectly fine. The problem is masses don’t give a damn about any of that. It is a disaster for masses.
There is simply no blockbuster song. The best of the lot for the masses are the two singles, Bayatikochi Choosthe and Gaalivaluga that were released before the music launch. And the intro song is the mother of all disappointments. It is far removed from the world of introductions songs of Pawan Kalyan despite good lyrical value.
The difference between the Pawan Kalyan albums and the rest is precisely avoiding the problem mentioned above. The music in his albums has that classy touch which also impresses the masses. Here we have music that feels like only for the elite even among the class, and that’s where it fails.
Irrespective of success or failure, the music lovers will find it a fresh album. However, it is bound to, and it will get negative reactions initially, but it should have a good afterlife depending on the movie’s success.
