Akhil Akkineni’s sixth film, LENIN, is scheduled for June 26, and the movie too has been carrying positive talk within internal movie circles.
But as things stand now, LENIN is expected to be postponed to a later date, with an official announcement likely soon.
Akkineni fans are unhappy with the numerous delays surrounding LENIN, and now they seem to have found a reason for this postponement. They argue that the film is being pushed to help Ram Charan’s Peddi have a comfortable run.
But in reality, this logic does not make much sense.
Peddi itself is struggling and has almost wound up its run in North America. There are also concerns about how well it will hold this weekend in AP and Telangana.
More importantly, by LENIN’s release date of June 26, Peddi would anyway not have any theatrical run left.
So blaming Peddi as the reason behind LENIN’s postponement does not really add up.
