Madhavan says that South Indian audiences will accept Akshay Kumar if the star hero wears a lungi like them and dances wearing it. When Shaharukh Khan could do ‘Lungi dance’, why not Akshay? It’s not a big task for Akshay who is a seasoned actor and open to do something new.
Otherwise he wouldn’t have landed himself in a villain role in a South Indian movie though he is a superstar in Bollywood. However, it’s up to Shankar whether he can visualise a ‘Lungi dance’ for the villain character he has designed for Akshay. What say?
