Actor Allu Arjun, who is an accused in the Sandhya Theater Stampede Incident was taken into Police Custody this morning. This has come totally unexpected and the actor’s lawyers are trying for an Urgent Hearing to get relief.
When the lawyers first mentioned the matter at 1.30 PM, the court refused to hear until Monday but they pressed the court to hear.
The Public Prosecutor sought time till 2.30 PM to get details from the Police. The court adjourned the matter till 2.30 PM.
At 2.30 PM, The public prosecutor told the court that Allu Arjun was arrested by the police.
The public prosecutor said that he will collect full details from the police and tell the court at 4 PM.
The court will now hear the matter at 4 PM.
It has to be seen if the Court will grant relief today.
Meanwhile, arrangements are going on to take Allu Arjun to Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad for Medical Tests. It is a regular practice when someone is arrested.
Security has been beefed up at the hospital.
