Allu Arjun and Atlee are getting ready to work together on Atlee’s new movie. Atlee, who directed ‘Jawan’ with Shah Rukh Khan, is a sought-after filmmaker right now. Many big stars want to work with him, and now it seems Allu Arjun has locked him for his next.
They’re planning to begin filming in the last part of 2024, and the movie will likely show Allu Arjun in a new and exciting way.
This can be called a masterstroke from Allu Arjun. If he had opted for a regular Telugu director after Pushpa 2, the reach would have been limited as Allu Arjun still has to establish himself a bit more outside the Pushpa universe.
With Atlee, the Tamil audience, which usually doesn’t endorse films by Telugu stars, would now come on board to watch the film in big numbers. For the North audience too, a film in the combination of Jawan director and Pushpa actor will create huge hype. Telugu audience anyhow is there already for Allu Arjun.
Atlee’s films might not be very original but he creates commercial blockbusters that have universal acceptance, unlike some other directors who cater to only a section of the audience.
Allu Arjun is currently filming ‘Pushpa 2’ and has a movie with Trivikram scheduled for 2025. If the collaboration with Atlee goes forward, it will be produced by Sun Pictures.
