Allu Arjun National Award: Biggest Threat To Charan?

Allu Arjun Ram CharanAllu Arjun getting the Best Actor at the National Awards changed the game completely in Tollywood. He has created a history that no one from Telugu Cinema was able to in the 69-year history of the National Awards.

This achievement also changes the dynamics in the Mega family.

Mega family has a dozen heroes but it all boils down to the one who is the torchbearer. It’s all about the big successes that decide this place. It all started with Chiranjeevi and later, Pawan Kalyan took over.

Ram Charan enjoyed the place for a brief period during Magadheera’s success. But he could not retain it for a long time after that.

He got another opportunity with Rangasthalam when he was impressed with his performance as well as the BO pull. But immediately Vinaya Vidheya Rama happened. However, Charan got a golden opportunity with RRR.

Even with NTR in another role, he was able to make a big impression. The BO success and the Oscar took it to the next level. All eyes are on his next – Shankar’s Gamechanger and Buchi Babu’s film.

But Allu Arjun came out of the syllabus. Pushpa became a National Phenomenon. However, the fact that it did not perform well in Andhra Pradesh eclipsed the achievement to some extent. But Bunny is sitting on a potential biggie with Pushpa 2.

The sequel hype and the euphoria around ‘Thaggedhele’ will catapult the movie into a massive opening. This National Award will take things to the next level.

Bunny has all chance to make it at the Pan-India level almost like Prabhas. Pushpa 2 will take an Earth-shattering opening and if it also results in a long run, we are looking at a potential 1000 Crore film or even bigger.

The contest will be only between Allu Arjun and Prabhas at the Pan-India. And if Salaar fails, Allu Arjun has all chance to become the biggest Pan-India Star from the South.

If that happens, it will be a big threat to Charan’s ‘Torch-bearer of the Mega family’ status. Fans will naturally drift towards Allu Arjun.

It is too early but Gamechanger and Buchi Babu’s film are unlikely to touch the ‘Pushpa 2’ levels. So, Allu Arjun is a real threat for Ram Charan after this National Award.
