Jagapathi Babu is on a new high in Tollywood with entirely fresh breath of life after choosing to play a different path. ‘Legend’ gave his decision a big boost and now ‘Srimanthudu’ is acting a great impetus. But he wants to do the same in Kollywood as well. Make a mark in Tamil films like he is doing in Telugu.
He is playing a suspended RAW officer in his upcoming Tamil film ‘Kaan’ directed by Selvaraghavan of ‘7/G Brindavan Colony’ fame. Jagapathi Babu took up the role because the banished officer is almost like mental and hence he liked it. Jagapathi earlier spoke that he uses a lot of cuss words which suits his mindset in the film.
Though he did ‘Lingaa’ with Rajnikanth, Jagapathi’s character in the film was almost nominal and hence JB wants to choose impactful roles in Tamil even if the role last for only a minute or two. The senior actor lays confidence on ‘Kaan’ that his character is going to make his career in Kollywood.
