It is being speculated that Amala Paul has been roped in for the Hindi remake of Telugu film Tagore. The remake, which is being directed by Krish, will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role. It is scheduled to go on floors later this year.

Sources from the industry say the Krish had mentioned Amala’s name to the makers after being impressed with her work in few of her recent films. She is already a busy actress in southern industry, acting across multiple industries.
Amala has starred with almost all superstars of south industry so far. She has acted with Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Vijay, Vikram, Mohan Lal and now all set to start shooting with Dhanush. Her popularity has worked in her favour to land this Bollywood opportunity.
