The movie Thalaivaa (Anna in Telugu) is garnering lots of reports regarding the threats that have been received from several anti social groups. However Vijay has given a press report himself belaying the fact that the film has no association with any political agenda and instead is a complete family entertainer along with all the necessary romance, action and comedy.
Vijay pointed out that the does not go against any political group or individuals and he therefore requested the public not to fall for these gossip tales. The film is being released on the 9th of August and is 2 hours and 50 minutes long and its high running time is practically par the course for Telugu films these days. As it is, the filmmakers are not worried as they believe star films like this have a face value and if the content is excellent people don’t mind sticking to the seats for a longer time.
