AP Govt Gives Big Boost To Peddi At Right Time!

The government of Andhra Pradesh has been fairly encouraging of Telugu films by permitting additional shows and hiked ticket prices. There isn’t this elongated process unlike the previous government for big films to secure stable release in AP.

In accordance with this, the government has now allocated significant permissions to the upcoming Telugu biggie, Peddi.

This film has secured special shows permission in Andhra Pradesh, and it would permit the Charan film to have five shows per day. The one additional show per day is permitted for 10 days period.

Along with that, the film has even secured the permission for special paid premieres from June 3, which is one day before the conventional release. The maximum ticket price for the same is locked at ₹600. The permitted ticket price hikes for plexes is Rs 125 and as for single screens, it’s Rs 100.

It is evident that the government of Andhra Pradesh has provided all possible amenities for the release of this Ram Charan film.

But the real question is whether the makers would actually exercise the permission for special premieres a day before release. This can happen only if they make us are extremely confident about the content, considering the kind of money that is involved and risk that comes with early shows.

The government has played its part, and it is now up to the makers to decide whether they would utilise all these tools at their disposal. The film is preparing for release in under a week from now and it happens to be the first Telugu biggies in the last 6 months which is a contributing factor.
