Arvind Swamy returned to Tollywood after a long, long time with Dhruva in 2016 and completely stole the show. In the role of Siddharth Abhimanyu, Arvind Swamy delivered a cracker of a performance.
Now again, after a gap of 6-7 years, he has been cast in a key role in Naga Chaitanya’s film Custody which is going to release this week.
Arvind Swamy, in his second innings as an actor, is usually taking up roles that are exciting. So there are hopes that he might turn out to be the trump card in Custody. Reportedly, he plays a psycho killer in the film.
Arvind Swamy also doesn’t feature regularly in Telugu films, he is not among the usual actors the Telugu audience witnesses each and every week. So that brings a certain freshness to Custody.
Let’s hope Custody turns out to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller just like director Venkat Prabhu’s last film Maanadu and Naga Chaitanya scores a good success at the box office.
