Producers Dil Raju and Shirish of Sri Venkateswara Creations present a raw, rhythm-soaked world in their upcoming film DeThadi, starring Ashish and helmed by debut director Aditya Rao Gangasani. Meanwhile, the makers unveiled the film’s First Glimpse in a grand event, celebrated with 500 street drummers performing live.
The glimpse introduces Ghannu Bhai, a drum artist whose life thunders across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. He’s not just part of the cultural noise- he is the noise. A man who wakes up to rhythm, survives on rhythm, and fights for the dignity that his drum symbolizes.
Ashish undergoes a gritty transformation to embody this world. His dialogue delivery snaps with bite, while his body language syncs with the pulse of someone who has drummed through enough streets to know exactly where pride ends and humiliation begins.
Director Aditya Rao Gangasani showcases strong clarity for a first-timer. Writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada showcases his creative finesse, and composer Junaid Kumar fuels the visuals with thunderous percussion that feels integral, not ornamental. The production values stand tall.
