Just like in politics, the issue of unfulfilled promises is becoming more evident in the Tollywood Movie Artists Association (MAA). One of MAA President Manchu Vishnu’s significant campaign promises was to build a dedicated MAA building. Unfortunately, there has been no progress on this pledge, and the association continues to operate from a rented space.
The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) election took place today. When senior actor Naresh went to cast his vote, the media circled him and questioned him about what was going on with the MAA building.
Naresh replied, “It is better if MAA president Manchu Vishnu answers it. I am not the right person. But I can say the resolution has been passed and the work is going on.”
He added, “In this film chamber, I am still L-board. I have a lot of films to work on. I am very happy to come and vote. Many big and responsible people are involved. If there’s an issue, my team is always there. When it comes to films, there is no Telangana, Andhra, or Rayalaseema. We are all one.”
Naresh’s support for Manchu Vishnu over Nagababu in the previous elections has made him accountable for providing information on the current status of the MAA building.
