The glimpse of Koffee With Karan’s upcoming episode is out now. It will feature Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor joining the producer-director this time, and Arjun Kapoor will also arrive in the same episode later.
The conversations look interesting for now, considering that Karan knows his guests for a very long time. However, certain moments from this new teaser still appear over-the-top and cringe-worthy at the same time, instead of offering something fresh for the audience.
It is an obvious fact that no one can expect Koffee With Karan to be extremely serious. But even comedy needs a new treatment every time, and this time, the writers have clearly failed to do the same.
The guests are clearly not serious about winning the rapid-fire round or any other games, and their answers clearly prove the same. Making every moment fun sometimes brings a feeling of irritation, and everyone appearing in the episode should have understood this.
Varun’s habit of copying other actors has clearly not ended, and it seems like the moment when he throws something aimed at Janhvi, and it falls on Karan, is expected to lead to another controversy.
The show has already created headlines as it is being trolled for the last episode featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. A lot of moments from the episode received criticism for certain reasons and now netizens are saying that the upcoming one is heading towards the same situation.
There was a time when every episode of Koffee With Karan led to excitement. The conversations are no longer interesting, and in today’s time, it seems like Karan is just repeating what he has done for the last 2-3 seasons. It is evident that the makers are falling short of new ideas while they plan a new installment.
The upcoming episode is clearly going to be more about shouting and screaming and less about normal conversations. While there has been a mixed response to the end of the show after so many seasons, after this teaser, it feels like the makers made the right decision.
