Avatar 2’s Unbelievable Resemblance To Venkatesh Movie

Avatar 2James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water is raking up huge collections in India and Telugu states are contributing tremendously to the box office revenues. The film is getting appreciation for its vision and special effects. But there has been criticism about its below-par storyline.

On social media, some people are saying that Avatar 2‘s storyline has an uncanny resemblance to Venkatesh’s Narappa (Asuran). Both films are about a father shifting to a new place (village) to protect his family. In Narappa, a son is killed in an enemy attack. And in the climax, the hero fights the enemies to save the rest of the family. Avatar 2’s screenplay is also almost the same.

Avatar 2’s story has been written in 2009 after the release of the first part. So there is no chance that James Cameron would have got inspired by Vetrimaaran’s story which was released in 2019. It’s funny if someone says he actually watched Naarappa or Asuran and then made changes to the original storyline of Avatar 2. But it is really astonishing that both films have so many similarities. Definitely, a case of a very strange coincidence.
