Baahubali remains one of the greatest franchises ever created in Indian cinema. It set the foundation for the franchise culture you see dominating the industry today.
With Baahubali: The Epic, a combination of the first two parts, ready for release, fans are buzzing about a possible third part.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda confirmed that discussions for Baahubali 3 are happening, but the project will take time to materialise. Several logistical challenges make it a complicated effort.
Recreating Prabhas’s original Baahubali look will be a major challenge. It demands intense physical training and full-time commitment from Prabhas, who now juggles multiple projects at once.
Getting him back into that iconic, sculpted shape is tough. The same goes for Anushka, as the cast has naturally aged since the original films. Expecting them to return to their younger looks isn’t realistic.
Using AI or digital enhancement could help, but Rajamouli’s filmmaking style values authenticity. It’s doubtful he would choose artificial methods to recreate those visuals.
For now, Baahubali 3 seems logistically out of reach. Yet, with Rajamouli’s track record, there’s never a definite “no.” Fans can only wait and see how this epic story continues to unfold.
