It’s not an act of few individuals to release the pirated versions online by evening of ‘Baahubali’s release, but a well-oiled machinery of educated people is behind this piracy racket. These piracy pirates had been operating internationally and have released thousands of big films on internet.
It’s the anti-piracy cell of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, Jabalpur Police and Motion Pictures distributors Association had been instrumental the piracy racket of ‘Baahubali’ and arrest a person by name Priyanak Paradeshai, a senior manager of IBM. Among others who were arrested, some were employees of big IT consultancies.
This pirates have a well defined job chart for various operations to make a pirated version and release it on different websites, the websites they own to upload the pirated versions.
The humongous loss to the makers of the film is much bigger than the amount these pirates are making from releasing the pirated versions of a big movie. The piracy networks are spread over big cities in India and also internationally.
