The movie Thalaivaa that has been garnering lots of reports regarding the problems of its release in Tamil Nadu is now facing other problems as well. As it so happens, theatre owners of Tamil Nadu had previously offered an attractive Minimum Guarantees (MG) for the film that is all set to hit the silver screens on the 9th of August. But due to some unknown reason, the same theatre owners have now made the decision to release the movie not on MG basis as was previously expected, but on a profit sharing basis .
Regarding the issue, the theatre owners met for an emergency discussion on this latest issue. This meeting has delayed the release of the film owing to people selling pirated DVDs of the film and uploading the same to the internet. No official announcement has been received from the filmmakers.
