Ravi Teja can finally breathe a sigh of relief as his latest film “Balupu” has struck gold at the box-office. After six back-to-back flops, this film has collected Rs. 8.03 crore in opening weekend in Andhra Pradesh.

Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film managed to keep the cash registers ringing. One of the reasons according industry expert is that the combination of Gopichand and Ravi Teja worked really well for the second time after “Don Seenu”, which was a blockbuster.
The film has reportedly collected 1 core plus overseas, superseding some Ravi Teja’s own films like Kick and Mirapakaya.
