The Telugu film industry was left shocked after a tragic road accident in Hyderabad claimed the lives of young actor Bharath Kanth and cinematographer G Sai Trilok on Sunday night. Both were reportedly around 30 years old and were considered promising talents trying to build careers in the industry.

The accident took place near Exit No. 12 on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road under the limits of the Adibatla police station. Reports suggest the two were returning to Hyderabad from Nellore when the accident occurred around 3 AM near Peddamberpet on the ORR.

Authorities have registered a case and shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the accident. Police suspect rash or negligent driving may have contributed, though all angles are still being examined.

Both Bharath Kanth and Sai Trilok were originally from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh and had moved to Hyderabad nearly a decade ago to pursue careers in the Telugu film industry.

Bharath Kanth had gradually started gaining recognition among Telugu audiences. Apart from acting, he was also active as a dancer, YouTuber, and content creator. He appeared in projects like Tenant, Gramam, and the web series Love Recipe, while also building a decent following on social media through his videos.

Sai Trilok worked as a cinematographer and had been associated with several film and digital projects.

Several friends and well-wishers shared emotional tributes on social media. Bigg Boss fame actress Ashu Reddy posted a heartfelt message for Bharath Kanth, calling him her “best friend,” “family,” and even her “emergency contact,” reflecting how close they were.

For many in the Telugu film industry, the tragedy feels even more painful because both Bharath Kanth and Sai Trilok were still in the early stages of their careers. After years of struggle and hard work, they had slowly started finding opportunities and recognition. Their sudden deaths have left friends, family members, and colleagues in deep shock.
