However, that seemed to be the peak for the actor as he went downhill from there. With his mediocre performances in Vettaiyan and Bougainvillea, fans expected huge things from him in Pushpa 2.

However, his performance was again ill-written demeaning his character. His legendary performance was instantly turned into a forgettable one after Aavesham.
We have to talk about Kamal Hassan if we talk about legends. Hassan had a splendid performance in Kalki but the fact that it was such a short role might have done injustice to him.
What hit rock bottom for the renowned legend was his film Indian 2. The film was a huge disaster at the box office and was disliked by everyone upon its release.
As 2024 wraps up, these superstars might have underperformed themselves and let down their fans given the potential they had. It remains to be seen how 2025 shapes up for these professionals.
