There were rumors about Alia Bhatt or Janhvi Kapoor playing ‘Sita’ in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. But it’s now confirmed that Sai Pallavi will take on the role in this trilogy. While some criticized this choice on social media, many praised her talent.

While some of them were unhappy with the fact that Sai was going to play ‘Sita’, stating that she was not that attractive to play the part, others suggested the names of other actresses who would be a perfect fit for the role instead of Sai Pallavi.
However, many fans defended Sai Pallavi, praising her as one of the finest actors in India. They condemned the negative remarks, calling them racist and ignorant.
They highlighted her excellent acting skills and dancing prowess, stating that very few actors can match her talent in the industry today. They saw the criticism from some Bollywood fans as nothing but blind hatred.
Reportedly, Sai Pallavi will earn around Rs 6 crore for each film in the trilogy, a significant increase from her usual fee in South Indian cinema, which is Rs 2.5-3 crore per project.
However, her pay is comparatively lower than the leads. Ranbir Kapoor, portraying ‘Lord Ram,’ is set to receive Rs 75 crore per film, totaling Rs 225 crore for the trilogy. Yash, playing ‘Ravana,’ will earn Rs 150 crore for the three films, Rs 50 crore per film.
