Marathi actor Ajay Purkar, known for roles in historical Marathi epics like Pawankhind and Subhedar, is playing the main villain role in Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu’s Skanda releasing on September 15, 2023.
Ajay’s dialogue in the trailer, “Nenu Dhimpindi Baananni Kaadhu…Gunapanni,” has already become popular and a subject of many memes and trolls on Telugu Twitter.
According to our sources, impressed by his powerful performances in the above-mentioned Marathi films, Boyapati chose him on recommendation from the film’s DOP, Santosh Detake.
Boyapati Sreenu is an unpredictable director whose calculations sometimes go right and sometimes go very wrong. In Sarrainodu, Boyapati Sreenu designed a very powerful villain role played by Adi Pinishetty. At the same time, he went horribly wrong with Vivek Oberoi in Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
