Brahmotsavam is day by day emerging as the biggest film of the summer season. Audio of the film was launched yesterday, so did it live up to the hype of the biggie?

Music for the film has been delivered by Mickey J Mayer. The musician has had a sensational combination with director Srikanth Addala. Together they have delivered albums that are beyond the usual chartbuster sphere. They have delivered classics that are heard even today. It is when this aspect is taken into consideration, there is a feeling of disappointment from the album as no song is of that caliber.
When seen independently and not looking at past history, Brahmotsavam is a decent album with few good numbers. The title track is clearly the best of the lot and only one number that could be pushed to put besides the classic songs of the music director and director combination. Overall they should serve the purpose in the narrative very well but as a standalone audio it is not an instant winner.
