Dhanush, after impressing the audience in Tamil and Telugu with Sir, is now returning with another different action period drama, ‘Captain Miller.’ The anticipation among his fans hit its peak as the makers just unveiled the film’s teaser on the occasion of Dhanush’s birthday.
The movie’s teaser showcases Dhanush in a never-before-seen avatar of Captain Miller. Dhanush is seen with long hair tied in a bun and a heavy beard, reflecting the character’s gritty and dark tone.
The film is set against the backdrop of the tumultuous 1930s pre-Independence era, a period marked by significant historical events and societal changes. As the teaser unfolds, viewers are taken on a captivating journey through this pivotal era, exploring the challenges, struggles, and triumphs of Dhanush’s character. Priyanka Mohan also seems to have bagged an important role. Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Shiva Rajkumar show promise.
Arun Matheswaran, who is best known for the films Rocky and Saani Kaayidham, is in charge of directing the movie. The music is by GV Prakash, and the film is scheduled to release on December 15.
