Natural Star Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is all set for a grand release on December 24th as Christmas Special. The movie has completed its censor formalities and has got a UA certificate. There are some interesting positives coming in for the movie from the censors.
Firstly, the movie runtime is 2 hours 37 minutes including ads which can be termed as perfect runtime. The first half of the film is of Vasu’s character and entertainment with Krithi Shetty. The second half is said to be a highlight of the film with the period drama. It is important for any film to have a good second half since the audience will be coming out with a positive feeling about the film.
Nani and Sai Pallavi‘s performance is said to be the highlight. The makers claim that the Censor members have appreciated the visual grandeur and attention to detail in the movie. The Censor team appreciated us a lot and gave a standing ovation to the film, the makers claim.
Shyam Singha Roy is the maiden Period drama and is releasing in four Southern languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the movie is set in the Kolkata Backdrop. Nani claims it to be a period drama with supernatural elements. The popularity of Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty will also help the film big time.
