When Naga Chaitanya signed for a film with Sudheer Varma for ‘Dohchay’, many appreciated him for being the first one to grab the next project of the director who gave a superhit film like ‘Swamy Ra Ra’. When his next was confirmed with film maker Chandoo Mondeti of ‘Karthikeya’ fame, cine folks said Chaitu is after Nikhil’s directors.
It’s true and it seems Naga Chaitanya trusts these young directors, their stories and their style of film making with story ideas which are quite novel to Telugu audiences. More is yet to come as Chaitu is also going to make his debut into Kollywood with Chandoo Mondeti’ s project which would go on floors very soon once he wraps up the work for ‘DohChay’.
As Chaitu is fluent in Tamil because of his Chennai brought up during his schooling days, and Chandoo Mondeti is also quite fluent in Tamil, Chaitu feels the subject they have chosen for his next, edge-of-the-seat thriller would cater to the tastes of Tamil audiences as well. The main reason behind the confidence is said to be the concept which is an experimental film for Chaitu.
