Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu may not have good terms with his Telangana counterpart K Chandra Sekhar Rao but he is going to replicate KCR now. KCR who do not have enough majority in Telangana Council encourage defections from other parties and bagged the council chairman post. Similar condition is prevailing in Andhra Pradesh council.
Congress Party which do not have representation in AP Assembly has majority in the 50 member council. Taking a cue from TRS, Telugu Desam Party has started wooing MLCs of the Congress and YSR Congress into its fold to increase its numerical strength in the House only to outnumber the Congress members. Recently Council Chairman Chakrapani met Babu and requested to allow him to continue in the post. Babu was initially sympathetic to Chakrapani but is under the pressure of his party men to to have their own partyman as chairman.
