Telugu Desam Party MLC Rajendra Prasad stirred a controversy by saying that 2019 elections may see Chandrababu Naidu as Prime Minister, Venkaiah Naidu as President and Lokesh as AP Chief Minister. This statement had given rise to several discussions and speculations in the state politics.

Finally Chandrababu Naidu responded about them in a meeting with the TDP MLAs the other day. “I got the chance to go to Delhi in the past and was even offered PM post. But I have decided that I will stay here. And there is no change in my opinion now too,” Naidu said to his collegues.
He reportedly strictly warned the TDP MLC not to repeat such comments once again. He also opined that such statements will only create a dilemma in cadre as well as National Partner – BJP.
