Even at the age of seventy, Megastar Chiranjeevi continues to surprise his fans by announcing back-to-back projects. He is also experimenting with different looks that remind audiences of his golden era. After a gap of two years after the disastrous Bhola Shankar, he is gearing up to entertain audiences with director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu. The makers are targeting a Sankranti release, with the film likely to hit screens on January 12 or 14.

Adding to the excitement, Nayanthara will be seen as the female lead, while the in-form Victory Venkatesh has been roped in for an important and entertaining role. This update has significantly raised expectations among fans.

Venkatesh’s Special Schedule

The latest buzz is that Venkatesh will join the sets from October 20 to shoot his portions, which will take about ten days. Director Anil Ravipudi has also planned a special song featuring both Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh, expected to be shot in November. Fans are eagerly waiting to see these two legendary actors not only share powerful dramatic moments but also shake a leg together on screen.

Music and Production

The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. The film is being jointly produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela. With the festive release window, audiences are curious to see what kind of records the film might set at the box office.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has nearly completed shooting for Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta Mallidi. Initially planned for a September release, the makers are now eyeing a summer 2026 release. After Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu, Chiranjeevi is also expected to collaborate with director Bobby Kolli for his next project. Then he will jump into Srikanth Odela’s film.

With such an interesting lineup, Chiranjeevi is once again proving that he has the zeal to compete with younger stars and the determination to aim for massive 300–500 crore blockbusters, much like Rajinikanth is doing in Tamil cinema.
