Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is one person who wants no luxuries for himself and wants a simple living, the common man notion very much suitable for his image. The renovation works for his present would be residence are going on in 6 Flagstaff Road in North Delhi’s Civil Lanes area. And the CM wants the Public Works department (PWD) to remove the ACs from the house.
But the PWD had to decline his request as it would leave holes in the house and which would further increase the work of renovation in the five-bedroom house and it means redesigning. However PWD had a suggestion to Arvind that he can either disconnect the ACs or else choose not to use them.
Even in Arvind Kejriwal’s previous residences he enjoyed no Air Conditioner and it is learnt that there was only one window AC in his parent’s room. After being vacant for almost for one and half years, the proposed residence for the CM is getting cleaned and renovated so that the CM can move in very soon with air conditioners still in place.
