YSR Congress Government is doing illegal constructions on Rushikonda by damaging the hill. There are cases in NGT and court over the destruction of the hill.
Back then, there were allegations that these constructions are for Jagan Mohan Reddy when he shifts his camp office to Vishakapatnam.
That means a violation of the status quo ordered by the High Court on capital shift. Initially, the Government denied any constructions pertaining to the Chief Minister’s office and maintained that the buildings are only for the purpose of tourism promotion.
Meanwhile, rumors are rife that Jagan is shifting to Vishakapatnam very soon. Meanwhile, the ruling party leaders are slowly changing their voices on Rushikonda.
A few days ago, Minister Botsa Satyanarayana went on to question what is wrong if government buildings are constructed in Rushikonda.
Now another minister Amar took a step forward and questioned if it is wrong if the Government constructs the CM Tourism Guest House in Rushikonda.
That means it is more or less confirmed that the CM will operate out of the new office that is being constructed by destroying Rushikonda.
