The Film Critics Association lodged a complaint against actor Srikanth Iyengar for making vile remarks about movie reviewers.
The complaint was sent to the president of the Movie Artists Association, Manchu Vishnu.

The general secretary of the Critics’ Association, stated in the letter that Srikanth used filthy language against the media and film reviewers.
He stated that all media groups strongly condemned Srikanth Iyengar’s remarks and requested strict action against him.

Srikanth made these comments during a press event of the latest film, Pottel, held on Saturday. He called for unity against film reviewers, describing them as parasites.
In response to his comments, the Digital Media Artists’ Association announced that they would boycott any media events related to Srikanth’s films until he issued an apology.
